The Great Stupa is located just outside of Bendigo, and is the largest Stupa being built in the Western world. It will be 50 metres high and 50 metres square at its base and is being built to last 1000 years.
Self guided tours are by donation.
If you would like a dedicated tour guide please see Group Tours.
We recommend allowing at least one hour for your visit.
If you have any mobility issues, the Great Stupa is accessible via wheelchair. The Great Stupa has dedicated disabled car parking located close to the entry. We also provide a buggy service to and from the Great Stupa for your convenience on weekdays only. Please call 03 5446 7568 if you require disabled access so arrangements can be made. A disabled toilet is located inside the Visitor Centre. Please note the buggy service is not available on public holidays.
