Catch a bus to the Great Stupa

Running three days a week, the Great Stupa bus service travels between the Bendigo Train Station and our Visitor Centre. We can’t wait for you to visit!

The Great Stupa Bus Service

We have heard the calls and we are excited to bring to you the Great Stupa Bus! This is a pre-booked service running once a day from the Bendigo Train Station to the Great Stupa. Then a return service back to the station.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays | $10 per person (includes return trip)

PICK UP LOCATION:

  • Pick Up Location: Bendigo Train Station Platform 2 – Across the walk bridge to the other side of the station.
  • Departure Time:  11:00am | Arrival Time: 11:30am
    The bus will wait for you if you have made a booking and arriving by train.

RETURN SERVICE:

  • Pick up location: Great Stupa Car park – Visitor Centre Entrance
  • Departure Time: 1:30pm | Arrival Time 2:00pm
    Bus will drop passengers off at the Bendigo Train Station – Platform 2.

Allowing at least 2 hours of visitation to the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion.

 

 

Passengers please note:

– All services should be pre-booked to guarantee a seat.

– Bookings to be made online. If no bookings available on the selected day then the bus service is full or it is too late.

– If you miss the bus, please call the Great Stupa immediately on 03 5446 7568.

-Bus Service will run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

-Space is limited to 11 passengers per day.

-Bus does not have accessibility for wheelchair access and limited space for storage.

-Platform 2 is over the walk bridge to the other side of the station.

-If you have a ticket to the bus, and your train service due to arrive at 10:58am is running late. We will wait for you. This is a booked service, and will not leave without you. If you’re unable to make the service by 11:30am please call the Great Stupa.
