Celebrate the Year of the Snake with the Great Stupa from Wednesday 29 January to Sunday 9 February! All are welcome to bring in the new year and join in on some auspicious festivities:

- Guided meditations
- Bodhi tree wishes
- Receive a lucky fortune
- Traditional lion dances
- A special talk by Venerable Geshe Rabten on setting your intentions for the new year.
The Great Stupa temple will be open daily until 4:45pm. Wishing our wonderful community a joyful and prosperous Year of the Snake! May this year bring you peace, happiness, and new beginnings.

By car is the best way to get to The Great Stupa Bendigo which is located at 25 Sandhurst Town Road, Myers Flat, Victoria, Australia.
Unfortunately at this stage there is no public transport directly to the venue.

Accessibility:
Lunar New Year aims to create a community event that welcomes all people to be part of the day. The Great Stupa offers accessibility throughout the site, including clear internal and external signage, clear paths, accessible bathroom facilities with sign-posted directions and slip resistant floor and ground surfaces. On the day there will be accessible carparks.
