Shelves for Buddhist Sacred Texts
Supporting the preservation of the Kangyur and Tengyur at the Great Stupa.
The Great Stupa has recently received the revered Kangyur and Tengyur — A collection of Buddhist teachings and commentaries.
However, without adequate shelving, these invaluable scriptures face the risk of deterioration and inaccessibility and are currently not on display.
Our goal is to ensure the preservation of the Kangyur and Tengyur. By contributing to the construction of specialised shelves, we can protect these sacred texts, allowing future generations to access their invaluable teachings.
Your support is pivotal in ensuring these scriptures are safeguarded for generations to come.
Your generous donations will directly fund the construction and purchase of shelves designed to uphold and protect these sacred Buddhist texts.
Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a vital role in preserving this invaluable heritage of wisdom.
The shelving will be provided by the Great Stupa library.
Venerable Rabten, khedup and Rigzin with help have wrapped the Kangyur and Tengyur. Both the Kangyur and Tengyur will be located on the main altar, either side of the Jade Buddha.
As you are donating to the Great Stupa Library; each donation over $2 towards this project is tax deductible. Your receipt will be emailed to you once your donation is processed.
Thank you for you support.
