Do you want to be involved in The Great Stupa project?
Volunteers make a huge contribution to The Great Stupa and the events we run. We value our volunteers and the time, energy and talent they contribute to our organisation.
There are various opportunities for people to become involved; please see below, or if you feel you have something else to contribute we’d love to hear from you.
| Cleaning |
General cleaning duties inside the Exhibition Centre to upkeep a pleasant environment for visitors, and cleaning within The Great Stupa prior to festivals, and the holy objects. |
| Gardening and general labour |
Working with the landscaping team doing weeding, watering, and planting of trees and flowers, and creating garden features, as well as general maintenance of The Great Stupa grounds. |
| Tour guiding |
Taking visitors for an informative tour through the Exhibition Centre, Peace Park, and The Great Stupa, and processing sales within the shop. |
| Data entry/administration |
General data entry, filing, laminating, stock pricing, and providing assistance to office staff with various tasks. |
| Events |
Different roles are available for our two annual events; illumin8 in May, and Vegecareian Festival in October. |
